After nearly a year of its existence, it has been decided to close the Native Fellowship Baptist Church. The final service will be Thursday, August 26, 2010.

We hope to establish a different Native American Baptist Church in Wagoner in the future. Please pray to that end.

We wish to thank everyone who has faithfully supported this effort, especially Rev Wade Robertson.

Bro Wade Robertson has confirmed that Native Fellowship Baptist Church WILL meet tonight, Thursday, January 7, as planned.

New Church Off to Wet Start

16 people gathered in the Fellowship Hall of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church for the first meeting of the Native Fellowship Baptist Church on October 8, 2009, despite torrential downpours that forced Wagoner and Muskogee Counties to be under Flood Warnings!

Bro Wade brought an inspirational message on Isaiah 43:18-19 and encouraged people to be on mission with God and greatly emphasized the Great Commission.

We look forward to our new church growing and beginning to reach out to others!

Hog Fry a Success!

Just before the Hog Fry

Saturday’s Hog Fry was a great success! 141 people attended. Rev Wade Robertson brought the message and attendees enjoyed a variety of music, including selections from the Cherokee Baptist Choir. Two $50 gift certificates were given away in a drawing. The crowd enjoyed delicious food and great fellowship. The children even had two inflatable toys; a slide and a jumping castle.

Pastor Wade Robertson

Dr. Wade Robertson has agreed to provide pastoral leadership to NFBC until a permanent pastor can be found. Bro Wade has many years of experience pastoring and currently resides in Wagoner. He is a member of First Baptist Church, Wagoner.

NFBC Hog Fry Invitation

The Hog Fry will begin at 1 pm this Saturday. We’ll have door prizes, food, Gospel Singing, and inflatables for the kids. Our first Bible Study will be October 8, 2009, at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church.

Native Americans from any tribe are welcome!
